Christina Longmire is currently an Operations Intern at Footage Foundation. She is an upcoming junior majoring in Global Health with a minor in Health Administration at the University of Southern California. She hopes to eventually obtain her Master’s in Public health and eventually her Ph.D. so that she may pursue a career in Public Health Research to enhance the health and well-being of communities around her and abroad, especially those that are underserved. She has had experience volunteering at many health-based organizations, such as Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center, where she worked at the information desk and often trained other volunteers; and at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, where she was a teaching assistant for a S.T.E.M summer program. She currently volunteers with the Al Jr. Wooten Center, which is a program that offers free tutoring to the youth in Los Angeles. She is currently training to volunteer with the Red Cross as a project presenter, where she will be teaching kids in grades K-5 about emergency preparedness during natural disasters. In addition to this, when school is in session, she works as a Molecular Biology lab assistant. She is honored to be part of the Footage Foundation and work with an organization that has such an amazing mission. She hopes to elevate the voices of those who have been marginalized and learn as much as she can!
